National Voter Day celebrated at Assembly Constituency Ludhiana (West)

Ludhiana, January 25, 2017: Voter Awareness Function was organised at Assembly Constituency Ludhiana (West) on the occasion of National Voter Day. The youth were distributed voter cards. Awareness rally was also held in the sensitive areas. Smt. Poonam Preet Kaur ( Returning Officer cum Deputy Director local bodies) made an appeal to all the voters to cast their vote ethically on 4 February, 2017. She said that it is the need of the hour to have a strong democracy for the overall development of the country. Democracy can be strengthen through the ethical use of voting. Assistant Police Commissioner Sh. Varinderjit Singh was also present on the occasion.
