National Science Festival-Doaba Scifiesta-2019 Organised

Jalandhar, February 19, 2019: The faculty of sciences Doaba College Jalandhar organized National Science Festival Doaba Scifiesta 2019. In the morning session Sh Alok Sondhi- General Secretary College Mananging Committee graced the occasion as Chief Guest, Dr.P.K.Sehjpal, GNDU , Dr Vasuda Sambhyal- Human Genetics GNDU and Dr.Vikas Gupta DAV College Amritsar- approved DAV Advisors graced the occasion as Chief Guests in the morning session. The dignitaries were accorded a hearty welcome by Principal Dr.Naresh Kumar Dhiman, Dr.Rajiv Khosla, Prof.K.K. Yadav, Prof.Arshdeep Singh, Dr.Ashwani staff and students. 750 students from 36 school and colleges Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and participated in 10 events viz. Gastrofest, Science Quiz, Idea Factory, Scitech Poster Presentation, Sciencetoon, Scitech Rangoli, Scitech Painting and Scitech Photography etc. In the evening session Sh Chander Mohan -President Arya Shiksha Mandal and Doaba College Managing Committee graced the occasion as chief guest .Sh Chander Mohan lauded the efforts of the science faculty for organizing national level sci-fiesta which will definitely inculcate scientific temper amongst science students and motivate them to make a better career in science field. Sh Chander Mohan, Principal Dr. Naresh Kumar Dhiman and Dr. Rajiv Khosla presented mementoes and certificates to the winning students.
