NANDINI Bajaj bags ‘CBSE Chacha Nehru Sports Award-2013’

Ludhiana, July 10, 2013: For holistic development of students, CBSE National Carrom Championship was held at B.C.M. Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana from 19-22 December 2012 where in 48 teams (Boys) and 32 teams (Girls) enthusiastically participated from different states across the country.

Surpassing the tough competition in team events as well as individual events, Nadini Bajaj of class XI arts bagged ‘CBSE CHACHA NEHRU SPORTS AWARD-2013’ for being declared as ‘Carrom Best Player U-19 years in Ludhiana. Also, she is the only one in Ludhiana honored with a cash prize of Rs. 6,000 for her bonzer performance.
