NAMBARDAR UNION: Give us representation in district – level committees

Ferozepur, January 2, 2013: A meeting of the Nambardar Union, Tehsil Ferozepur City was held in Teshil complex under the leadership of Sukhraj Singh Khai Pheme Ki in which a resentment was shown for not honouring the assurance given by the government to give representation in the various committees at the district level to the nambardars.

The president of the Union said, Akali-BJP government despite promises to honour their demands of increase of the allowances, representation in the committees and honouring on Independence Day and Republic Day. 

The Union also demanded from the government to provide free bus service in Punjab and free insurance cover and construction of Nambardar Bhawan like Kissan Bhawan in Chandigarh.
