Mysuru Warriors ropes in 12 players from KPL, 2018 auction

Mysuru: NR Group, the agarbathies to aerospace conglomerate andowners of Mysuru Warriors participated in the player’s auction today at Chinnaswamy stadium for KPL,2018. In the player’s auction process, Mysuru Warrior roped in12 players who will be representing the team in the seventhseason of the KPL2018. The warriors are ready with their squad to fight it out at the battle field.

The players roped in during the auction are:

4. Shoaib Manager
5. RajooBhatkal
6. Arjun Hoysala
7. Luvnith Sisodia
8. Prasidh Krishna
9. Sharath Srinivas
10. Kushal Wadhwani
11. Manoj K H
12. K Gowtham

Players Retained:

1. Vyshak Vijay Kumar
2. J Suchith
3. S P Manjunath
4. B N Bhareth

Mysuru Warriors has also retained emerging fast bowler Vyshak Vijay Kumar, and Mysuru’s very own J Suchith a left arm spinner with both state and IPL experience. Joining them are Mysuru’s, SP Manjunath, a pro on the circuit, and BN Bhareth, IPL and Karnataka
State Player. These players bring the quality, and experience the team needs.

Modelled on the lines of IPL, the 20-20 tournament is organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and will witness competition between 7 teams. Started in 2009, the Karnataka Premier League is now in its seventh season which will commence on August 15,2018. The tournaments are scheduled to be hosted at Mysuru, Bengaluru and Hubbli.
