Municipal councillor Neeti Talwar donated 24 months monthly allowance for development of park

Hoshiarpur: BJP national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna on March 17 inaugurated and dedicated a park to the residents of the area in ward No 4.
The newly constructed park has been constructed at a cost of Rs.10.96 lakh. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Khanna said that the area councillor Neeti Talwar had contributed the amount from her monthly allowance besides contributions made by the residents of area. He lauded the role of Neeti and people of the area for construction and beautification of the park.
Khanna hoped that the park would prove beneficial in maintaining ecology in the surroundings. He said the park would prove to be a paradise for the area residents, especially children, for morning and evening walks and also for playing.
Further, Khanna said the Union Government under the dynamic Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi is carrying out various projects in public interest to keep the environment better and pollution-free.
In her address, Neeti Talwar said that she has contributed her monthly allowance of Rs 17000 (24 consecutive months) by handing over the same to Ward Development Committee. She added she had one motto of rendering social service.
The PSPCL Circle Dispute Settlement Committee Hoshiarpur chairman Sanjeev Talwar also spoke.
The area residents and others were present.
