MSME honours CT University students
Ludhiana, November 21, 2019: Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME-DI) honoured the students of CT University (CTU) for successfully completing the two weeks ‘Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme’. The students were felicitated by Kundan Lal, Assistant Director MSME- DI Ludhiana and R.K. Parmar, Assistant Director, MSME- DI Ludhiana; awarding the participants with certificates from MSME.
During the two week programme, the sessions were based on setting up business and being a successful entrepreneur. Also, students encountered hands on experiences through various case studies and even Industrial visits.
Honouring the students, Parmar, said, “As jobs are getting scarce day by day, setting up own business and being an entrepreneur is the need of the hour. This is Government’s motive as well to promote students who feel like being their own boss. Such certifications help the students and increase their self confidence. We are here to support such students who are willing to bring a change.”
During the session, all the queries of students were addressed that were based on the financial aspects, schemes by government, branding and marketing, etc. Meanwhile, Dr Amrinder Singh, Head of School, Management Studies, said, “Every session was beneficial for students as it connected them with the industry and enhanced their knowledge about setting up their own businesses in the near future. CTU is setting another example for being industry driven.”
Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CTU congratulated the students and wished them luck.
