MP INAUGURATES public toilets in Police Lines

MP Manish Tewari inaugurates public toilets at Police Lines, Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, January 27, 2013: Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting (IC), Manish Tewari, inaugurated the public toilets in the premises of local police lines today.

Tewari had given Rs. 13 lakh from his MPLADs for this project.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the police worked day and night to fulfill their duty. 

He further added, “It is their effort that let the common man live in peace and control the anti-social elements in the society”.

Tewari, Member of Parliament from Ludhiana, said that he had promised development and this facility was one in a series of projects he had developed.  He believed that this would be most useful for people from far flung areas, who come with their complaints to the police. 

He further added that, essential facilities were the right of everyone and he would make sure that his parliamentary constituency get all such necessary facilities.

Among others, the DCP, Ludhiana Bhupati, District Congress Committee President Pawan Dewan, Leader of Opposition in Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (LMC) Hemraj Aggarwal, Sunny Kenth, Rohit Pahwa, Balvinder Bunty, Satvinder Singh Jawaddi and Inderjit Kapoor were also present.
