GGNIMT Signs MoU with Club Nirvana
Ludhiana, May 20, 2017: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines has recently taken a few initiatives to boost the training & placement opportunities for its students.
With the view to achieve expert industry training and guaranteed placements, GGNIMT Department of Hotel Management has signed an MOU with Club Nirvana, a unit of Enchanted Woods Club Ltd.
S.Gursharan Singh Narula, President, Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council (GKEC), Ludhiana and Mr.Gurmukh Singh, HR Manager, Club Nirvana, a unit of Enchanted Woods Club Ltd signed the MOU between the two organizations in the presence of Dr.S.P.Singh, Hony General Secretary, GKEC, S.Bhagwant Singh, Secretary GKEC, S.Kuljeet Singh, honourable member, GKEC, Prof. Shantimani Sathwara, HOD, Hotel Management Department, Prof. Simranjeet Bhatia, Senior faculty, Prof.Rajinder Singh, Faculty, Hotel Management Department.
While talking to the media, Mr. Gurmukh Singh, HR Manager, Club Nirvana said that all this will not only augment the student expertise but also bridge the skill deficit required by the industry. He termed this move to be an important milestone towards more enabling hospitality careers.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT said that this MOU will ensure practical training and industry interface for grooming the students as per hospitality industry standards. He further mentioned that the MOU will enhance the technical knowledge and provide more industry exposure to the budding hoteliers. Prof. Chhabra said that an institute can impart theoretical knowledge to its students but the real world learning can only happen in the real time environment. He further wished that this MOU would go for a long time and provide our institute with that missing link to the industry and polish our students for more rewarding careers.
