MORE HOSPITALS LIKE IMA REQUIRED IN CITY: GOVERNOR

CHANDIGARH, NOVEMBER 7, 2016: Indian Medical Association (IMA) is doing excellent job by providing better health services to poor and needy people of City Beautiful and its surrounding areas.

Expressing these views after flagging off Air Conditioned Funeral Van at IMA, Sector 35, Chandigarh, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri V.P. Singh Badnore said that such hospitals would definitely reduce the patient load of PGIMER and other government hospitals in the City.

Lauding the role of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Seva Society Trust for giving all facilities like Dialysis, Ultrasound, X-ray, Dental, ECO, MRI, CT Scan, Pet Scan, Free Consultation by Doctors, the Governor had round of entire IMA Complex and was satisfied to see the infrastructure. He also interacted with the Doctors.

The Administrator assured the management that the Administration would extend all possible help to the IMA. He was also happy to know that the trust provides assistance at the times of National calamities, Sunami, Cloud blusts, Floods, Earthquake of Utrakhand, Uri Sector, Kashmir, at Nepal (185 surgeries with implants & Medicines).

Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Mr. MPS Chawla, Mr. Gurdeep Singh, Mr. P.S. Sahni, Mr. Tarninder Singh and Mr. Ravinder Singh.
