More than 10 thousand applications received for unemployment allowance

Shimla, June 29, 2017: The State Government has received more than 10,500 applications under Unemployment Allowance Scheme being implemented in the State since April, 2017. The applications are being examined and the eligible applicants will be provided the allowance after verification of their documents.

An official spokesperson of the State Government stated here today that the payment under the scheme would be made only through bank accounts. The eligible youth will be given allowance of Rs. 1000 per month and those with minimum 50 percent disabilities will get Rs. 1500 for a period of two years.

He said the detailed information of the scheme has made available on website http://admis.hp.nic.in/unemp and the eligible youth can apply for allowance after filling up application forms and producing self certified declaration alongwith other required documents to the concerned employment office.
