Mission Umeed- Saath Aaayein, Jammu Kashmir Phir Sey Basayein !!

Chandigarh, September 21, 2014: 92.7 BIG FM, Reliance Group and Shivalik Enclave Market Association NAC Manimajra and various trusted organisations have joined hands to send relief material to Srinagar for the flood victims who have been fighting even for their day to day needs. In their first consignment they have sent 1192kg of relief material via Jet Airways who is also supporting the cause. On this occasion RJ Pankaj, RJ Aakriti , Members of SEMA NAC Manimajra, RCom employees, civic bodies and other self help group representatives were present to flag off the consignment of relief and love towards the residents of Jammu and Kashmir.

Various trusted organizations Jet Airways, Market associations, packers and movers, NGO’s and self help groups like Mission Brave heart, Ibteda and jkfloodrelief.org,have joined hands with BIG FM to ensure the collection, storage and distribution in Srinagar to help the victims of Devastating Floods apart from the listeners.

For the flawless execution of the distribution of the relief material going through BIG FM  the following has been done:

•         They are inviting the listeners to donate / contribute relief material (non perishable)

The local SEMA NAC Manimajra is taking care of the collection, storage and packaging of the relief material and its local transportation

•         Material sent has proper stickers for easy identification (storage and transportation)

The collected relief material is being delivered at the Airport, specified place convenient to the Airways for subsequent airlifting to Srinagar

•         It is supervised by the associates of BIG FM/ Group associates who are collecting the relief material from the Airport and will ensure distribution of the same through local volunteers and NGO’s in affected areas.

Now listeners can donate blankets, bed sheets, rice, flour, dal, tea, milk powder, spices, oil, Hygiene kits ( comprising tooth brush, tooth paste, dettol, soap, shampoo pouches, antiseptic creams), phenyl, diapers, sanitary napkins, baby food, etc. that will be the immediate requirement. So Join This Noble Cause and Be Hopeful that the Jannat will be the same again with our collective efforts.
