MISSION TANDRUST PUNJAB: UNDER “MERA PIND MERA MAAN” SCHEME, PRIZES TO BE GIVEN TO ORGANISATIONS & INDIVIDUALS MAINTAINING CLEANLINESS

LUDHIANA DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION DEMANDS APPLICATIONS TILL AUGUST 31, 2018 Ludhiana, August 28, 2018: Under the Mission Tandrust Punjab, the state government has started “Mera Pind Mera Maan” scheme, under which most clean villages, senior secondary schools, health centres, rural middle or primary schools, Aanganwari centres of the state are to be chosen. Besides this, individuals maintaining cleanliness would also be awarded. While providing information, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Dr Shena Aggarwal said that under the “Mera Pind Mera Maan” scheme, besides the above mentioned organisations and individuals, best pump operators, asha workers, ANM, Aanganwari Workers, Master Motivators, Junior Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Sub Divisional Engineers, Panchayat Secretaries, all societies, Mahila Mandal, Vigilance Committees would also be chosen. The chosen organisations, societies and officials would also be awarded. Dr Shena Aggarwal informed that any official, society, organisation wants to participate in “Mera Pind Mera Maan” scheme, they can submit their applications with office of Executive Engineer, Water Supply & Sanitation, Division Number 3-cum-District Sanitation Officer, Ludhiana before August 31, 2018.
