74 CHILDREN CHECKED DURING FREE MEDICAL CHECKUP CAMP

Ludhiana, February 6, 2019: A religious function was organised in the premises of Observation Home located in Shimlapuri area of the city today. This function organised under the supervision of District & Sessions Judge Ludhiana-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Mr Gurbir Singh and Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, DLSA.

On this occasion, “paath” of Sri Sukhmani Sahib was performed followed by Kirtan by the Hazoori Ragi of Gurudwara Manji Sahib Alamgir. During today’s function, Mr Dev Dutt Bhakhri, Chairman, Manavta Bhalai Organisation and chief of Aarzoo Hospital Rara Sahib, organised a free medical checkup camp for 74 children of Observation Home. The children were checked by Dr Deepak Goyal, MBBS, DCH and free medicines were provided to them.

While addressing the gathering, Dr Gurpreet Kaur said that sometimes, people commit mistakes unknowingly and the society starts hating people who are either on bail, acquitted or after the completion of their jail sentence. She said that people should motivate such people so that they also become responsible citizens of our society.

Advocate Jaspal Singh Guru and Advocate Gurwinder Singh Sodhi, former secretary, District Bar Association, Ludhiana, said that with the “Parkash” of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in the Observation Home, it would definitely help in showing right path to the children in Observation Home, here.

SGB Sewa Samiti Machhiwara Sahib Chairman Mr Charanjit Singh Thopia and Geeta Mata Mandir Chief Mr Pardeep Dhall also addressed the gathering. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Mr Kulwinder Singh from SGB Foundation Dham Talwandi Khurd, Mr Ajay Batta, Incharge, Observation Home, Mr Pawan Kant Mohra, besides several others.
