MISSION TANDRUST PUNJAB: KHANNA POLICE RECOVERS 1150 INJECTIONS USED AS DRUGS

Ludhiana, September 15, 2018: Today Mr Dhruv Dahiya, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna has disclosed in a press note that as per the directions of Mr Suresh Arora, IPS, Director General of Police, Punjab and Mr Ranbir Singh Khatra, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ludhiana Range, have started a special campaign against the Drug Trafficking & misdemeanours, during this campaign Khanna Police has achieved a great success today when under the guidelines of Mr Jasvir Singh, PPS. SP/I/Khanna, Mr Jagwinder Singh, PPS. DSP/I/Khanna, Mr Deepak Rai, PPS, DSP/Khanna and Inspector Mr Gurmail Singh SHO/Sadar/Khanna.

The SSP informed that during the Nakabandi near Pristine Mall, G.T. Road, Khanna, Sub Inspector Mr Labh Singh alongwith Police Party ASI Jaswinder Singh, HC Harwinder Singh, HC Surjit Singh & Constable Gurmeet Singh, stopped a suspected Car Model Innova nearing No. PB-13-R-9030 & the car occupants have identified as Rajinder Singh @ Rinku S/o Karam Singh R/o Hno. 2006, Street No.16, Dasmesh Nagar, Ludhiana & Harpreet Kaur @ Preet D/o Gurdip Singh R/o Hno. 74, Street No. 12, Bawa Khel Mohalla, Jalandhar.

On the frisking of car, police party has recovered 500 Injections of AVIL-10ML (Intoxicants), 500 Injections of REXOGESIC-2ML (Intoxicants), 150 Injections of OMGESIC-2ML (Intoxicants) Total 1150 Intoxicant Injections & arrested the above said accused on the spot. A case FIR No. 217, Dt. 15.09.18 U/S 22/61/85 NDPS Act PS/Sadar/Khanna has been registered against the above said accused.
