Ferozepur, October 20, 2012: Two persons were killed after a speeding Mohindra black colour car No.PB-11-AZ-5180 on its way to Kot Ise Khan from Ferozepur. The incident reported to have occurred on Friday night, as it came to notice only on next morning.
Immediately on getting the information, Jasbir Singh, DSP (Sub –Division) and Rakesh Kumar, SHO, Kulgarhi police station reached the spot and managed to take out the car with the help of crane.
Divulging about the details, Jasbir Singh, DSP informed, Ramandeep Singh resident of Patiala and his close relative, were going from Ferozepur towards Kot Ise Khan, when this accident occurred. While the dead body of Ramandeep Singh was found in the car itself, the body of his accomplice could not be traced and it is presumed that his body has washed away with the flow of water with the opening of gate of car on falling in the canal.
The dead body of Ramandeep Singh was sent for post-mortem and police has started further proceedings in this case.
