MGSIPA ORGANISES 12-DAY INDUCTION TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR FUNCTIONARIES OF LUDHIANA DISTRICT

Ludhiana, November 29, 2017: Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (MGSIPA) Punjab, Regional Centre Patiala organised 12-day Induction Training Programme for Newly Recruited cutting edge level state govt. Functionaries of District Ludhiana at Govt. In-Service Training Centre here today. The programme has been sponsored by Ministry of Personnel & Training, Govt. of India.
The experts in the field of Law, Revenue, Municipal Act & Criminal Procedure Laws, Office Management, RTI Act 2005, Civil Service Rules, Citizen Centric Behaviour, TA/DA and Leave Rules, GPF and Pay Fixation Rules, Reservation Policy, Punishment and Appeal Rules, Conduct Rules, Cash handling and management of Accounts are addressing the officials of different ranks and interacting with them in academic sessions during this training programme.

Launching the programme, the Regional Project Director of MGSIPA, Regional Centre, Patiala Sh. Jarnail Singh gave introduction of the programme and highlighted its significance for bringing about efficiency & perfection in the administrative system. He encouraged the participants to develop competence and confidence for speedy disposal of the official business following procedures and guidelines provided in the Pb. Civil Service Rules (CSR) and other circulars issued by the government from time to time. He also urged them to change their attitude and mind set for ensuring quick and quality service to the people in their respective areas of jurisdiction. He also gave a presentation of Administrative Hierarchy of Central and State Government of Punjab.

On the 1st day, Dr. (Prof.) Shiv Kumar Dogra of Law Department, Panjab University Regional Centre Ludhiana delivered lectures on "An overview of Indian Penal Code (IPC)" and Highlights of Evidence Act. Sh. Yashpaul Manvi, Assistant Director (Retd.) Pb. School Education Department spoke on "Time Management and Qualities of an excellent employee".
