Jalandhar, September 3, 2015: The price of greatness is responsibility. MGN Rainbow Adarsh Nagar conducted the Investiture Ceremony of the student council for the academic session 2015-16, for Rainbow wing students in order to inculcate leadership qualities amongst its students for the smooth conduct of activities, to espouse confidence and sense of responsibilities among them. The ceremony commenced with a prayer ‘ Charan Chalo, Chalo Marg Gobind’ to pay obeisance to the Almighty and seek his blessings. The violent show was marvelously blended with cultural events which included group song and dances and a poem recitation by Arshnoor Kaur, a Kindergarten student. The phenomenal performance hummed around the sizzling, scintillating and soothing monsoon. Rainbow Incharge Miss Deepti Kaushal urged the student council to become role model, be infused with the spirit of discipline, moral values and be innovative in their approach and scale new heights of excellence, further she conducted the oath taking ceremony. The esteemed chief guest of the day S. Jarnail Singh Pasricha (Honorary Secretary MGN Educational Trust) and Mrs Manjit Kaur Pasricha . The chief guest conferred the badges and sach to the Head Boy Hardik Kapoor and Head Girl Ishveen Kaur. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were. Mr. Ramneek Singh Kalra (Manager, School Managing Committee), Mrs. Jashneet Kaur Kalra(Trustee MGN Educational Trust) , Miss Satwant Gakhal (Director MGNPS )Mrs Brinder Badwal (Principal),Mrs Sushma Prehar (Incharge Primary Wing) .Mr. Ramneek Singh Kalra conferred the badges and sach to the captains of the student council. Miss Satwant Gakhal and Mrs. Brinder Badwal conferred the badgers and sach to the Vice Captains of the students council. The excitement of the new members was palpable as they marched in with their heads held high ready to shoulder the responsibilities as student leader with dedication and devotion. Miss Deepti Kaushal (Rainbow Incharge) extended her gratitude towards the guests and the parents present for the ceremony. The ceremony ended with the rendition of the National Anthem.
