MEP Infrastructure Developers Limited bags 2 RIDCOR Projects in Rajasthan

Mumbai, April 1, 2016: MEP Infrastructure Developers Limited (BSE - 539126; NSE –MEP), has bagged 2 short term toll collection projects, named Lalsot-Kota (3 toll plazas) & Alwar-Sikandra (2 toll plazas) in the state of Rajasthan for a period of 1 year.
The Company has received the Letter of Acceptance for the Lalsot-Kota project for the Toll Collection near-
Section 1: Section-1: Near Bhadoti at Km.39 or Check Barrier at Km.14 for the stretch from Km.0 to Km.60 of Lalsot-Kota Section for 60 Km.
Section-2: Near Indergarh at Km.103 for stretch from Km.60 to Km.130 of Lalsot-Kota Section for 62.4 Km. (excluding 7.6Km NH Section)
Section-3: Near Gudla at Km.176 for the stretch from Km.130 to Km.190 of Lalsot-Kota Section for 60 Km.
The concession fee payable to the authority (RIDCOR) for the above mentioned project is Rs.30.33 Cr (Rupees Thirty Crore Thirty Three Lacs Only.), payable on a weekly basis.
MEP has also the Letter of Acceptance for the Alwar-Sikandra project to collect the toll near-
Section-1:
At Banganga Bridge at Km 4 for the stretch from Km 0 to Km 20 of Alwar-Sikandra Section for 20 Km.
Section-2:
At Mahwa Khurd village at Km 64 for the stretch from Km 20 to Km 77 of Alwar-Sikandra Section for 57 Km.
The concession fee payable to the authority (RIDCOR) for the above mentioned project is Rs.19.08 Cr (Rupees Nineteen Crore Eight Lacs Only.), payable on a weekly basis.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jayant D. Mhaiskar, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, MEP Infrastructure Developers Ltd. said that “MEP has operated the toll plazas under Lalsot-Kota Project in the past for a period of 1 year & Alwar-Sikandra Project for 2 years(2011-12 & 2014-15) and are very much delighted to be awarded with this 2 projects from RIDCOR back in our order book. Prior to these 2 new projects, we have added 11 Short term toll collection projects awarded by NHAI & RIDCOR during this financial year with a sum of Rs.574.21 payable as concession fees to the authority.
