Jalandhar, November 16, 2015: A Career Awareness and Employability Enhancement Programme was organised in Apeejay Institute of Management, Jalandhar. The resource persons for the mentoring workshop were Mr.Ahsan ul Haq, President Jalandhar Management Association, Mr.Vishal Sharma, General Secretary and Mr Vamsi Krishan Chaudhary, CEO Career Cafe Foundation Pvt.Ltd. The objective of this Career Awareness and Employability Enhancement Programme was to enable the students understand the key challenges to effective employment.
The programme comprised a written test and an expert lecture on ‘How to Clear Competitive Exams?’ In the written test, the students were evaluated for their proficiency in English language, Aptitude, Quantitative & Logical Reasoning, General Awareness and Emotional Intelligence.
The written test was followed by Feedback and Mentoring Workshop. The resource person for this session Mr. Vamsi Krishan Chaudhary is himself 100 percentiler in CAT examination 7 times consecutively. He also got gold medal twice in GATE examination. Mr. Vamsi enunciated various tips and shortcuts that can be used in such competitive examinations like UPSC. At the end prizes were distributed to top 10 scorer.
Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of the Institute thanked the resource persons and expressed that this programme must have enlightened the students and that they would be benefited by this programme.
