The Men Universe 2018 – 19 Santo Domingo finds its India representative in “Amit Mehra”

Mumbai: Men Universe India 2015 is a unique initiative taken by TSS Agency India to search for the country's Perfect Man who will represent India at the very prestigious Men Universe Model 2018 Pageant (formerly known as Mister Universe). And, India feels immense proud to announce the finalist ‘ Amit Mehra’ who is its entry and representative to this widely known and distinguished pageant of ‘Men Universe Model’ 2018 -19. This year the finalist - Amit Mehra has been selected by Robert Flores, the founder of MEN UNIVERSE pageant and the international jury in alliance with Shikhar Sidharth, National Director India for Men Universe Model. Amit is a Mumbai based actor and model who was born in the capital. He started his modeling career with some of the big names of this industry. Modeling has provided Amit with the opportunity to travel the world from France to Italy which he enjoys a lot as he love getting to know new cultures while traveling. He has worked in print ads and campaigns for domestic as well as international companies. Some of the big names he worked with are; Radisson Airtel, Thums Up, TATA, and Park Avenue. He has a passion for acting as well. Amit was also a part of season 4 of the hit show Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi hosted by Bollywood Star Akshay Kumar airing on one of the national Channel ‘Colors’, and has since worked for various channels on acting assignments. In addition to TV and films; Amit also enjoys stage performances and had even taken a theater acting class from Tom Logan (USA). He is also a fitness freak who doesn't shy away from even putting extra hours in the gym especially for body building which he loves. Kiran Gill was the first Indian ever to participate in the first edition of Mister Universe model held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on March 12, 2008. About 21 countries were represented in the pageant. Iván Cabrera Trigo of Spain crowned as the winner at the end of the event and Gill ended up in top 10 finalists. Shikhar Sidharth and Ex Mister India Universe Kiran Gill have revived the association with the international group after a gap of 6 years in 2015. Sumit Singh won the mister talent title at the international pageant in the year 2015 followed by Himanshu Shailey in 2016 -17. "We feel proud that India made a mark once again at the international pageant. Participation on such a level has always helped us to communicate more about India to different parts of the world. It does not only bring awareness to people around but also helps us to create bonds between them. Amit is a talented boy and he is very confident competing with 43 countries at the pageant.
