Ludhiana, January 5, 2013: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting (Independent Charge) and Congress MP from Ludhiana Manish Tewari has said asserted that concrete efforts be made by the officials for bringing the Centre and the state government welfare schemes at the door steps of people.
Presiding over the district- level monitoring and vigilance committee at Bachat Bhawan here today, he added the purpose was to raise life style of people through implementation of these welfare schemes.
Tewari reviewed the ongoing welfare schemes being run by the Centre.
He also gave necessary directions to the officers.
