Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria visits industrial units located on railway station road, Dhandhari

Ludhiana, July 23, 2016: Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria visited the industrial units located on railway station road, Dhandhari on Saturday. He listened to the grievances of the members of All India Cycle Trade Travellers Association who are running their units at this location. The Mayor after listening to their grievances assured them to get them resolved and also asked the concerned officials to visit the site and do the needful.

The members of the association also handed over the memorandum to the Mayor in which they mentioned that there are total 87 units and 87 shops out of which 45 are running.

These units and shops are located in a complex but there are several problems in the complex. They told that there was no water supply in the complex, roads were in pathetic condition and sewerage system was also very old. They demanded for a dispensary in the complex and also raised the demand for street lights.

Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria said, “I have asked the XEN O&M cell Nachatar Singh to visit the area and solve the problem of sewerage system as soon as possible while for water supply they would get a tube well installed.” After solving the problem of water supply and sewerage system they would construct the roads.
