MASSIVE DEFEAT OF CONGRESS, AAP IN 2017 IS INEVITABLE: HARSIMRAT

Talwandi Sabo/Bathinda, March 30, 2016: The wise people of Punjab will yet again reject the nefarious designs of Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the state by voting SAD-BJP government to power. Both the parties play only vote politics and the welfare of people is of least concern for them, said the Union Minister for Food Processing Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal while interacting with media persons at Talwandi Sabo today.
The Union Minister today dedicated several developmental projects to the public and laid foundation stone of others. Answering a media query she said that the SAD-BJP government has always remained synonymous to unprecedented development in state. Unlike other governments, the SAD-BJP government not only has launched several welfare schemes, but has achieved high success in implementing them properly.
Responding to a question, the Union Minister said that merger of Manpreet Badal led People’s Party of Punjab (PPP) has vindicated fact that PPP was always the B-team of Congress and now so is the AAP in Punjab. She added that the two parties allied in Delhi against BJP government and the same is now being repeated in Punjab. “But people of Punjab have always voted for development and this time too they will cast their precious vote to SAD-BJP government that has heralded in development in state,” she said.
She said that the historical decision taken on Satluj-Yamuna Link has reiterated the SAD-BJP government’s pro-people approach meant to safeguard the interests of state’s farmers.
The Union Minister said that people of Amritsar will question their MP Captain Amarinder Singh on his long absence from constituency he represents in Lok Sabha. She said that Captain should be ready with his report card to answer the volley of questions people will pose him.
The union minister distributed cheques under shagan scheme worth around Rs 13.80 lacs to 90 beneficiaries in the Talwandi Sabo community hall. Earlier, the Union Minister dedicated newly constructed 66 kv power grid worth Rs 3.75 cr in village Sekhu that will provide power to nearby areas. She also inaugurated the irrigation drain of Bangi on the refinery road, public park and newly constructed bus stand at of Cost of Ruppes 2.51 Crore in Raman. She also inaugurated Public Park, Tehsil Level Veterinary Hospital and new block of Government Senior Secondary School in Talwandi Sabo. At village Lehri she laid foundation stone of the project of upgrading Bathinda-Talwandi-Rori Road to Fatta Balu via Lehri, Mirzeana, Koreana and Kalalwala of total length 17.63 kms. At village Bhagi Vander she laid foundation stone of the building of Government Primary School.
