Maple Bear celebrates Raksha Bandhan

Ludhiana, August 28, 2015: Maple Bear Canadian Playway & Nursery School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana celebrated the auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm and gaiety.

Rakhi is celebrated in a unique way. The theme of the function was “Unity in Diversity” as Kids were dressed in traditional attires of different religions like Hindu, Sikh, Muslim & Christian. They tied Rakhis to their classmates depicting all religions give the message of love & affection to their relations. Kids made beautiful Rakhis from flowers, butterflies, beads, threads & stones. They also decorated Thalis for Puja. This inculcates the creative art in the kids.

Principal of the school Mrs. Veena Aggarwal explained the significance of Rakhi to the kids and how it strengthens the affectionate relationship, love among brothers & sisters. It has always been Endeavour of Maple Bear School to celebrate the Indian festivals in traditional spirit & giving a message to the society at large.
