Manpreet Singh of Village Bahomajra commits suicide

Khanna, October 30, 2017: A youth allegedly committed suicide near village Bahomajra by hanging himself with a roadside tree. The deceased was identified as Manpreet Singh(20) a resident of village Bahomajra near Khanna.
As per information, Manpreet was a driver by profession. On Sunday night he left his home on a motorcycle but he did not return till late. His family members searched for him and this morning his body was found hanging with a roadside tree on GT Road near Khanna. His motorcycle was found parked near the site and it seemed that he allegedly hanged himself with his shirt and his body was recovered hanging with a tree.
According to SP (I) RPS Sandhu, no case was registered in this regard and the body of deceased youth was handed over to his guardians after postmortem.
SP stated that as per preliminary investigation the youth was under mental stress and he hanged himself. He said that police are enquiring into the matter.
