Chennai, May 27, 2016: Benjarong, the popular Thai restaurant in the city has introduced a special mango-based menu for the season. The menu is offering unique Thai delicacies with new mango twists. Now, one and all can enjoy the summer with delightful Thai dishes at it’s restaurant in TTK Road.
The season for king of fruits has arrived to transform this sultry summer days into a refreshing experience. Keeping in hue with season, Chef Ram Kumar - Brand Chef of Benjarong has crafted a special menu which include ‘mange-based’ cocktail, salad , stir fry, curries and desserts. The menu features cocktail like Namprik mamuang (Mango drink made from the fresh mango pulp, Thai red chilli with a mild twist of basil and lemon ), salads like Yum mamuang goong yang (Raw mango salad with satay prawns), Namyam mamuang (Sweet mangoes, cherry tomatoes, dragon fruits and diced iceberg with a spicy tangy dressing). The seasonal menu also offers scrumptious Stir fry like Tohu mamuang pahd priew warn (Stir fried tofu with cucumber, mango, cherry tomatoes in sweet and sour sauce) , Mamuang pahd manow khing (Stir fried veg or choice of chicken or prawn with sweet mangoes in lemon coriander sauce) and curries like Kaeng kari linchi mamuang (Thai yellow curry with mangoes and lychees ). To make your mango-eating experience even more divine, Benjarong has come up with delectable mango desserts like Khao niew dahm mamuang (Sweetened black sticky rice with mangoes), Alphonso mango pannacotta and Fresh mango with vanilla ice cream this summer.
