Lyallpur Khalsa College performing exceptionally in Inter Zonal Youth Festival

Jalandhar, November 4, 2016: Under the able guidance of Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra Lyallpur Khalsa College has continued its rich vein of form in various fields. Continuing this juggernaut of achievements, the college and its students are performing exceptionally in the Inter Zonal Youth Festival being organised by Guru Nanak Dev University. College Teams have provided stiff competition to its opponents and subsequently have occupied various first, second and third positions in the festival that kicked off on November 2, 2016.
As per the events concluded till date the college has occupied first positions in the events of Mime, Vaar Singing, Western Vocal Solo, Geet/Gazal, Rangoli while second positions were occupied in Mimicry, Group Shabhad, Clay Modeling, Western Group Song, Folk Song, Apart from this the college also took third place on the podium in Bhangra, Poetical Symposium, Poster Making, Cartooning, Fancy Dress, Elocution, Debate.
Principal Dr. GS Samra expressed his delight on these achievements and also hoped that the college would be crowned Overall Champion in the Inter-zonal youth festival. He also congratulated the students who have represented the college in these events with such distinction. On this occasion, Principal Dr. G.S. Samra also congratulated Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Dean Cultural Activities and his entire team for their tireless efforts that has lead to this success in the Youth Festival.
