Ludhiana, December 5, 2012:Swedish luxury car maker Volvo Auto India is strengthening its foothold in the country by opening another new dealership in Ludhiana.
The showroom is spread over an area of approx. 3000sqft. This will be a 3S (Sales Service and Spares) facility showroom by Volvo Cars.
Expressing his views on the announcement,Tomas Ernberg, Managing Director, Volvo Car India said, “The expansion of our dealer network signals the importance of the Indian market to Volvo Cars. We believe that India holds tremendous potential for our brand and want to make sure that we fully capitalise on the opportunities available while at the same time providing the best possible services for our customers at the best value at the most competitive prices. Also, Punjab is an important market for us and hence after our successful existence in Chandigarh we decided to open another dealership in Ludhiana."
The dealership is owned by the existing dealer partner Raj Naresh Singh who also owns the Chandigarh Dealership. The dealership is registered under the name A.B Carz Pvt. Ltd. and has opened its doors at GT Road, Dhandari today.
The showroom will be retailing the four luxury models: Volvo XC90 - A 7-seater luxury SUV which is sturdy and apt for Indians, Volvo XC60 – a technologically advanced compact luxury SUV, Volvo S80 - an exquisitely elegant sedan and Volvo S60 - a sporty sedan.
