Ludhiana Unit of NZIEA to start free coaching classes for candidates aspiring for job in LIC by engaging experts

Ludhiana, September 28, 2019: Life Insurance Corporation of India is the finest financial institution in the country and is the largest life insurance company in the world in terms of number of policies. It serves and claims it settles. It is the single largest investor in the Indian economy. In a statement issued here today, Amarjit Singh, Divisional Secretary, NZIEA - Northern Zone Insurance Employees' Association explained that LIC recently has announced 8000 Vacancies for the recruitment to the post of Assistant throughout the country. This is a significant step in the background of unprecedented unemployment situation in India. He further said in Ludhiana Division which comprises of three district – Ludhiana, Bathinda & Mansa, 64 vacancies are there. The Northern Zone Insurance Employees’ Association – NZIEA, affiliated to AIIEA – All India Insurance Employees’ Association which is the oldest and largest Trade Union of Insurance Employees’ had invested a lot of energy in agitating for recruitment. This struggle has now succeeded with the start of recruitment. The AIIEA since its birth in 1951 has been working for the improvement of the wage and service conditions of LIC Employees. The AIIEA is also committed to the noblest value of mankind and therefore it engages itself in several social activities to provide relief and support to those affected by natural calamities and suffer from economic and social disadvantages. “It is with this commitment that our Ludhiana Unit of NZIEA is going to start free coaching classes for the candidates aspiring for the job in LIC by engaging experts from 30th September 2019 onwards at Sham Nagar, Ludhiana”, he said, adding, “For getting the coaching, students are to get them registered by contacting office bearers of the Association who is presently posted in LIC Dugri Office whose Mobile Number is 98142-88849.” The purpose of this free coaching is to spread the message of our Association who fought for this recruitment, he added.
