Ludhiana News/“Comrades” create problems between labour and management-UCPMA

Ludhiana, December 5, 2013: A delegation of United Cycle & Parts Manufacturer Association (UCPMA) had a meeting with Harbhupinder Singh Nanda, Labour Commissioner Punjab and Kashmir Singh Joint Director of Factories Punjab under the leadership of Charanjit Singh Vishivkarma, President of  the association on Thursday in Circuit House here to discuss the day to day problems being faced by the industry.
The delegation discussed regarding issue of consent by Punjab Pollution Control Board, approval of factory layout map, revision of Labour Wages and regarding inspection of the unit by Factory Inspector.
The difficulties were discussed in detail one by one with the Labour Commissioner and Joint Director who were requested to redress these problems so that industry might not suffer. In addition the delegation spoke about the unionism being created by “comrades”. “Comrades” create problems between labour and management, the delegation said.
The Labour Commissioner were very kind enough to hear views and assured the delegation that their problems would be solved shortly to save the industry.
