Ludhiana, July 20, 2014: Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana organised a tree plantation drive at their hospital, as a part of the Official Guinness World Record Attempt of planting 1 lac trees by Ludhiana in one hour on Sunday.
During this drive more trees were planted in the already green environment of the hospital. The pits had been prepared earlier itself to facilitate speedy plantation. The tree plantation activity was done by leading personalities associated with the hospital like Green Piece Lions Club Ludhiana Karamjit Singh Virk(president), Avtar Singh Kanda, Balwinder Singh Bedi, Hardev Singh Mankoo and the CEO of the hospital Brig. M.S Gujral, doctors, other paramedic and administrative staff were the active participants in the activity.
