Balaji Param Bhakt Baba Kulwant Bhalla in association with Zindagi Live Foundation organising a voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Balaji Mandir, Dhuri Line, Ludhiana on Wednesday for  support to thalasaemmia patients.

Ludhiana, November 13, 2013: Balaji Param Bhakt Baba Kulwant Bhalla in association with Zindagi Live Foundation organised a voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Balaji Mandir, Dhuri Line for  support to thalasaemmia patients.

A total 55 units of blood were collected at the camp. Ashok Marwaha Chairman of Zindagi Live Foundation stated that this was their 27th camp which their foundation has been organising regularly for the last two years to enable unending availability of blood for this life threatening disease.

Yogesh Gupta, Gen. Secy. stated that 18 more thalasaemmic kids are being shortly adopted for treatment which shall take the  count to 78 kids being sponsored by Zindagi Live Foundation. The next camp shall be announced soon as at present the huge demand of blood caused due to dengue is also being met by the foundation. He also stated that on the occasion of Children’s Day on November 14 the children shall watch  the latest KRRISH -3 at Waves Cinema (Courtesy-Westend Mall) and emphasised that these children get a normal young kid experience that the privileged feel. Yogesh also informed that their NGO was co-ordinationg with TIF (Thalasaemmia  International Federation) for the upliftment and better facilities to all thalasemmic patients across Punjab.
