Ludhiana News- UCPMA thanks PPCB for waiving off fee regarding issuance of NOC of old period upto March 31, 2010 completely

Ludhiana, November 8, 2013: The United Cycle Parts Manufacturer Association (UCPMA), Ludhiana has thanked Punjab Pollution Control Board for waiving off fee regarding the issuance of NOC of old period upto March 31, 2010 completely.

In a statement here today, the UCPMA president Charnajit Singh Vishivkarma said it was a long pending demand of the association. He said now PPCB has decided to give a golden chance to the old units, which are running without any NOC/Consent and the fee will be charged from April 1, 2010 and this relaxation is allowed upto December 31, 2013.

he added any applications received in this respect after December 31, 2013 will not be considered for issue of NOC/Consent for running the unit. In order to get benefit from this relaxation the members who have to get NOC/Consent should apply to the Board so that they may be able to run their unit without any difficulty, he advised to the UCPMA members.
