Ludhiana, November 17, 2013: Ludhianvis were entertained a lot with the singing of Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan here on Saturday evening.
Hans was wearing dashing black pathan suit. The audience was seen getting mesmerised with his singing and the whole personality. The event was organised by Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust.
“Rakho mori laaj garib nawaz…” were his opening lines.
Besides other songs, he also dedicated songs in the memory of noted singers such as Mehdi Hassan, Reshma, Jagjit Singh and Manna D as a mark of tributes.
The audience was also spellbound when he sung `Sajda’ and students from local Sat Paul Mittal School danced to the tunes of the song.
The famous songs that Hans sung includes “Ishq di gali vicho koi koi langda” and “Nit khair manga sohniya mein teri dua na koi hor mangdi”.
Interacting with the media persons, he told that Sufi music was like nature and love of God. He said no singing was bad but the condition should be that it should be sung in a proper manner.
Hans said music was like worship for him. He also termed music as love coming out of a soul.
To a question, he said a song should be of such a nature that it should be listened while sitting with all the family members.
Still, to another question, he told that politics was little bit tough for a singer like him.
He revealed that his fresh Sufi album would hit the market soon. He said he was also coming out with his son Yuvraj in another album.
