Ludhiana, August 10, 2013: 'Global Leadership Print Award' was conferred to Kamal Chopra (General Secretary Offset Printers Association Ludhiana) a stalwart of printing industry from Ludhiana for his outstanding leadership in promoting the printing industry in India and worldwide .
The award is given by Ralph Nappi, President The Graphic Arts Show Company, NPES (The association for suppliers of printing, publishing and converting technologies USA) . The award was given during Print 13 Exhibition in Chicago USA on 9 th September 2013. He’s the only Indian to get this award till now.
Parveen Aggarwal, President, Offset Printers Association Ludhiana, Congratulatgloed Chopra on receiving the prestigious 'Global Leadership Print Award', Its due to Chopra’s devotion to the printing industry which has got him esteemed recognition not only in India but all over the world, Aggarwal added. “It’s great to have such an amazing personality in our team” he said.
A 32 member delegation of North India Printers’ Association (NIPA) is right now at Chicago, USA attending the Print-13 exhibition.
This group visit has been organised with the support of Ministry of MSME, Government of India under International Cooperation Scheme. The Government has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 23,97,350 for this visit.
