Ludhiana, September 10, 2013: A meeting of election committee was held on Tuesday in the UCPMA office under the chairmanship of Kamalinder Kumar Singla, Presiding Officer.
Members of election committee of the United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association (UCPMA), Ludhiana Rajan Gupta, Ravi Mahajan and Manjinder Singh Sachdeva were present.
According to Singla, they have received four withdrawals of the nomination papers upto 12 pm. The nominations were withdrawn by Manjit Singh for the post of President, Sukhdev Singh Bhinder for the post of Senior Vice President, Pardeep Wadhawan for the post of General Secretary and Manmohan Singh Ubhi for the post of Secretary.
He told that all the four withdrawals were accepted and now there remained 19 candidates for 8 eight officer bearers post.
The final list of candidates has been displayed on office notice board.
The election is scheduled to be held on September 14.
