Ludhiana, September 10, 2013: The 10th Ganesh Chaturthi 2013 celebrations begin at Shri Sidhi Vinayak Mandir Trust, Haibowal Kalan, Ludhiana on Monday and like always Ludhiana is set to lead the way when it comes to Ganpati festival.
On Monday, on this auspicious occasion at the beginning of Ganesh Festival in Ludhiana Harpreet Sandhu, Former Additional Advocate General Punjab addressed the gathering with message “May Lord Ganesha bestows upon you all prosperity and good fortune.” along with Sanjeev Sethi, former Rotary Governor, Ajay Nayyar, Raju Kanujia, Ravi Nandan Sharma, National President Aadhar Foundation and several other prominent personalities of Ludhiana attended the festivity, gave their good wishes and sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha on this important day. It is amazing to see the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations becoming bigger and bigger in Ludhiana, as Ganesh Chaturthi also known as Vinayak Chaturthi is celebrated as the Birth Anniversary of Lord Ganesh, the God of Wisdom and Prosperity of Hindu mythology. Hundreds of devotees thronged to the venue of Ganesh Utosav celebrations and participated in this Festival.
