LUDHIANA MLA GIVES UNIQUE GIFT TO STUDENTS OF GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS IN HIS ASSEMBLY SEGMENT

ANNOUNCES TO ADOPT THE SCHOOLS TO GIVE FACELIFT TO THEM

Ludhiana, October 12, 2018: In a unique gift to all the students studying in the government schools falling within Ludhiana (Central) assembly segment, the MLA from this constituency Mr.Surinder Dawar has decided to adopt them at his own expenses as per which complete facelift will be given to these schools before Diwali.

In the first phase five schools would be given a complete facelift with its white wash and plantation of saplings before the festival of lights. Giving the details, the MLA said that his family especially his son Mr.Manik Dawar desires to uplift education in their segment. H said that for which these schools have been adopted. Mr.Dawar said that in the first phase Government Primary School Sherjung, Iqbal Ganj, Narinder Nagar, Milergunj and Special Resource Centre Schools would be upgraded.

The MLA said that keeping in view Diwali festival the work of repair, white wash and plantation would be completed by Diwali this year. He said that the work on remaining six schools would also be completed very soon. Mr. Dawar said that after first phase was over the work on other infrastructure like Power, fans, desks, water, uniforms, shoes, inverter and others would be covered.

The MLA further said that in the coming days the work of providing desks to the students would also be accomplished. He said that with the inspiration of his family, he has taken this initiative to improve the infrastructure of schools in his constituency. Mr. Dawar said that he would make efforts to ensure that the students of the government schools in his segment were able to get facilities at par with their peers in the private schools.
