Ludhiana, August 13, 2018: The draw of lots for the under construction flats for urban poor was organised in Municipal Corporation’s Zone B office, here today. Ludhiana East MLA Mr Sanjay Talwar was the chief guest on the occasion.
MLA Mr Talwar informed that the Ludhiana MC is constructing 750 flats for urban poor in Mundian area of the city. He stated that these flats would be given to the urban poor under a project of the government. He said that today, 126 draws were taken out in the presence of Ludhiana MC Commissioner Mrs Kanwalpreet Kaur Brar and other senior MC officials.
MC Commissioner Mrs Brar informed that the construction of the flats for urban poor is going on in full swing. She said that some of the successful beneficiaries of the draw of lots would be handed over letters by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh during state-level Independence Day celebrations at Guru Nanak Stadium, here on August 15, 2018.
