CHANDIGARH, APRIL 26, 2018: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 1 lakh for the kin of the woman killed in an LPG cylinder explosion at Labour Colony in Gyaspura area of Ludhiana.

The Chief Minister has ordered an inquiry into the incident that left 33 persons, injured according to an official spokesperson.

Directing the Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner to extend all possible assistance to the injured, the Chief Minister ordered free medical treatment for them.

Captain Amarinder extended his sympathies to the family of the deceased woman and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

Ludhiana: According to available information, the injured have been identified as Yaswant Singh, Shashi Singh, Gobind, Ramnaresh, Pooja Yadav, Sunita, Ashok Yadav, Surinder, Raj, Kajal, Kamlesh, Bittu Rajan, Uttam, Amit, Rakesh Kumar, Dharminder, Anjun Devi, Varinder, Amarnath, Shivam, Mamta, Shiv Sharma, Aeganiya Yadav, Meena Devi, Parmod Parsad, Mahommad Ali, Pawan Kumar and Prince Kumar.
