Ludhiana Cyclists had an adventurous cycle expedition (ride) from Manali to Leh (Khardunga)

Ludhiana, July 20, 2017: Three city youths Sanjay Verma (30 years), Nayak Muradia (26 years), Ranbir Singh (42 years) alongwith Abhishekh and Sanchit from Delhi and Riya from Mumbai went for Manali-Leh Cycling Expedition recently.
On 20th June, they went by bus from Ludhiana to Manali and did some warm-up cycling ride during their two-day stay at Manali. On 24th June, they left for Leh crossing Rohtang, Keylong, Baralachla, Nakeela, Lachungla, Taglangla and and finally Khardunga at 18,380 feet, which is World’s Highest Motorable Road.
Sharing his experience, Sanjay Verma said that it was a mesmerizing experience for all of them to go for this adventurous trip as they went through the flower valleys, forests and the tiny beautiful villages.

While going on this cycle tour, cyclist Sanjay along with other group members interacted with the localities of different places and got to know about their life-style and other routine tasks being undertaken in such harsh and cold climatic conditions.
Another cyclist Nayak Muradia said that during their cycle expedition, there were many such moments when they would feel that due to strong wind blows, they are not able to maintain their balance but their strong will and persistence motivated tem to reach their desired destination.
Cyclist Ranbir Singh also felt elated in undertaking this adventurous cycle tour to Leh.

Sanjay Verma is a very passionate cycle rider. In the year 2013, he drove cycle from Ludhiana to Banglore covering a 2,458 kms and reached Banglore within a period of one and half months. Being an ardent follower of ‘Art of Living’ organization, Sanjay spread the message of communal harmony and safe environment through his long-distance cycle ride.
