Ludhiana Architect Sanjay Goel Nominated As Director Of Upcoming Smart City

Ludhiana, May 12, 2016: Punjab Government has appointed Ar. Sanjay Goel, Chairman of The Indian Institute of Architects Punjab Chapter (IIAPC) as one of the Directors of the Ludhiana Smart City Limited. This is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) incorporated under the companies act to implement the Ludhiana Smart City Mission Projects under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Govt. of India, formed under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary to Govt. of Punjab.. It is an honour to The Indian Institute of Architects Punjab Chapter (IIAPC) and Ludhiana Centre.
Ar. Sanjay Goel is a graduate of Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA), in 1993 and is presently Chairman of The Indian Institute of Architects Punjab Chapter (IIAPC).
He is into his private practice for the last more than 20 years and has successfully completed many kinds of Architectural Projects in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and other parts of the Country.
He is the fellow member of The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), The Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID) and The Institution of Valuers (IOV).
His aim along with Architects from Ludhiana is to contribute maximum to Ludhiana Administration & Punjab Government to make Ludhiana as smarter as possible at the earliest.
He is thankful to Ludhiana Administration & Punjab Government for electing him as Director in upcoming Smart City Mission of Ludhiana.
The other directors on LSCL are very senior bureaucrats such as Principal Secretary/Secretary Local Government, Punjab; Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Municipal Infrastructure; Mayor Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana; Nominees of The Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Govt. of India; Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana; Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana; Chief Executive Officer of SPV; Chief Engineer, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana; Vice Chairman, Punjab State Planning Board & Chief Engineer, Punjab State Power Corporation, Ludhiana, two nominees of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India and few more.
Ar. Sanjay Goel assured active participation of Architects from The Indian Institute of Architects Ludhiana Centre (IIALC) in developing Ludhiana as future Smart City.
