Ludhiana, October 28, 2014: Ludhiana’s noted architect, Ar Sanjay Goel, who is the Chairman of IIA- Ludhiana Centre will chair the Technical Session “Futuristic and Innovative Initiatives” as the Moderator at “Neo-International Conference on Habitable Environments (NICHE-2014)” which will be held at Lovely Professional University from October 31, 2014 to November 2, 2014. The session will present 9 experts from all over the world who will share their research work and deliver lectures.
Ar. Sanjay Goel is practicing as an Architect in the city, through his firm Designex Architects for the past 20 years in various fields such as Institutes, Hospitals, Banks, Residences, Industry etc. He is also the Joint Secretary of Indian Institute of Architects, Chandigarh – Punjab Chapter and National Committee Member of IIA for Membership Promotion.
The Indian Institute of Architects and Lovely Professional University have collaborated to put forth the First International Conference dealing with Architecture, Planning, and Design in the State of Punjab.
The NICHE-2014 comprises of series of events with a strong global inclination devoted to pioneering technologies and expertise: from conservation to green initiatives, from urbanism to design, from habitat challenges to meaningful research. The conference will draw academicians, professionals, developers, environmentalists, policy makers and students from nearly 10 Countries including Algeria, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mauritius, Iran, Nepal etc.
The NICHE 2014 conference’s principle aim is to examine and observe how we can shift towards welfare and equity within habitable environment. To achieve this aim, the conference will concentrate on various themes such as:
