Ludhiana, October 28, 2016: Celebrating the essence of the quote “Small Opportunities are often the beginning of great enterprises”, BCM School, Dugri hosted LSSC Inter School Semi-Classical Dance Competition where 14 CBSE schools participated.
The occasion was presided by Sh.Suresh Chandra Munjal (Chairman, School Managing Committee, BCM Schools, Ludhiana). Sh.S.K.Mehta (Manager, BCM Schools, Ludhiana) graced the occasion with his benign presence.
The competition started with lamp lighting ceremony and paying tribute to the Almighty.
Dr.Vandna Shahi (Principal of the host school) welcomed the students and teachers from various schools. The competition was really a treat with variant flavors of the dance form.
Judges Ms. Sheetal Sharma (Asst. Professor for Dance, Ramgarhia Girls College, Ldh) and Ms. Shilpi (Renowned Kathak Dancer) appreciated the zeal and enthusiasm put by the students. The first position was bagged by Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar, second by DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, Ldh and third by Sacred Heart Sen. Sec. School, BRS Nagar, Ldh. The Appreciation Award was bagged by Bal Bharti Pubic School, Urban Estate, Dugri, Ldh.
A vote of thanks was proposed followed by the National Anthem.
