LSCL director Ar Sanjay Goel welcomes Mukesh Ambani’s move to create smart city near Mumbai

Ludhiana, April 9, 2019: Ludhiana Smart City Ltd (LSCL) director Ar Sanjay Goel has said it is great news that Mukesh Ambani is going to create its own new smart city near Mumbai. Stating this here on Tuesday, Ar Goel added, “Why Government is unable to create its own may be small smart cities/ developments, if not existing cities.” Adding, he said, “We all know that existing cities will take time between one to two decades, however every state must get one entirely new smart city may be small, as an example for remaining existing cities in state.” “Chandigarh is only live example of smart city in India. If private players can plan their own smart developments/cities then why not government”, he asked. It may be recalled here that Ludhiana city is also included in the list of Smart Cities to be developed across India.
