LPU Students organized Marathon against Cancer

Jalandhar, February 5, 2019: Students Organization "CLUB-20" at Lovely Professional University organized 20 Kms long marathon "Race for Grace", where hundreds of LPU students and staff members participated. Run under the aegis of Division of Student Welfare of LPU, in association with ‘Can Protect Foundation’, the marathon raised awareness among all against fatal Cancer. Seeing that lakhs of people have died due to this fatal disease only in the year of 2018, all the participants also pledged to eradicate the fatal disease to the core. During the race students were also holding the placards with slogans- “Have Regular Screening; Early detection; we can do it; and, many other. Out of many types of Cancer diseases, students had preferred awakening against ‘Breast Cancer’ in women and wore symbolic pink coloured caps also.
