LOK SABHA ELECTIONS 2019: ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA GIVES OPPORTUNITY TO GET REGISTERED AS VOTERS

Ludhiana, March 1, 2019: In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has given an opportunity to people to get themselves registered as voters. This information as provided by District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal.

He informed that in this regard, on March 2 (Saturday) & March 3 (Sunday), 2019, special camps would be organised by Booth Level Officers (BLO’s) on all polling stations of district Ludhiana. He said that during the camps, the BLO’s would be having the voter lists to be used during the upcoming elections, through which the voters would be able to check their details present in these lists.

He further informed that if name of any voter is missing in the list, he/she can fill form number 6, if the details are wrong, can fill form number 8, and submit it to the concerned BLO or in the office of Electoral Registration Officer. He said that these forms (form number 6, 6a, 7, 8, 8o) can be filled online also at the National Voter Services Portal (www.nvsp.in).
