Lohri celebrations dedicated to women education and empowerment at KMV

Jalandhar, January 13, 2018: At the Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar Lohri celebrations were dedicated to women education and empowerment.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr.Sushma Chwala (Renowned Gynecologist and wise president K.M.V.Management Committee) and guest of honour was Dr.Satpal Gupta.
The Principal of K.M.V.Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi welcomed the guests and wished all the guests, students and faculty success, prosperity and lots of good cheer in all the years to come. A large number of little children from the economically backward section of the society were presented gifts on the occasion. The institution also honoured the mess workers and multi tasking staff.
Speaking on the occasion the chief Guest Dr.Sushma Chwala said that it was a great to see the festival being celebrated in a higher meaningful way.
Dr.Gupta said that meaningful celebrations made festivals everlasting memories. Students on the chilly but sunny afternoon enjoyed peanuts, jaggery and other traditional sweets. They danced to the cultural songs and infused the whole environment with lots of joy and energy. The organizing team was appreciated for the successful organization of the event.
