LMA along with PCTE Group of Institutes organising first HR Conclave on Talent acquisition and employee retention: New Paradigms at PCTE Group of Institutes at Ludhiana. 

Ludhiana, March 9, 2015: Ludhiana Management Association along with PCTE Group of Institutes organised first HR Conclave on Talent acquisition and employee retention: New Paradigms at PCTE Group of Institutes. About 35 HR professional from different industries of Ludhiana participated in the conclave. On the occasion Sachit Jain, President LMA and Anil Kumar Past President and ED shreyans shared their experience of challenges they face in the field of HR and management policies that are required to make their organisation best places to work in the industry. Dr KNS Kang, Senior Vice president, LMA, business professional, academicians was also present on the occasion.
 While speaking on the occasion Sachit Jain said that acquiring best talent to work is the biggest challenge Ludhiana Industry is facing. He said that we should look for only those talents who really want to work in our firm and have inclination towards our organisation and city.  He also advocated the fact that industry should hire fresh talent and nurture them as per their requirements to fit into organisational culture.   Jain stressed on creating an environment of trust and responsibility among the employees and management so that talent can be retained for long run.
Anil Kumar, ED, shreyans industries said that core of employee retention in any industry is that organisations should build relationship of trust and mutual understanding among the management and employees. He said that management should have empathy and must feel and understand from employee’s point of view, and give their employees authority and responsibility to do their routine work.
Dr KNS Kang, Senior Vice president said that most of business organisations today focus their attention on marketing of their products, operational efficiency and very little on managing and retaining their human resource which is actually the driving force behind the long term success of any organisation. He said that organisations need to create an environment where employees should consider themselves as part of organisation and contribute to their maximum towards organisational success.
At the end of conclave panel discussion was held in which HR professional discussed about some of the practices they are using in their own industry to retain the talent.
